Light

I took this picture at the train station in Atlanta using available light. I used this photo for for my photojournalism class assignment for light. 

Motion

Nicholls State vs. Mississippi State at the University of South Alabama. In this assignment we had to stop motion or blur it. I prefer to blur most of my motion but since this was photojournalism, I was not allowed to set up my shots so I just went with the sports photography. 

Feature

A feature is supposed to be "a slice of life," and I thought this fit. I was at the LPGA Tournament this past week and found this young man getting autographs from some of the LPGA players. You can read the one on his hat, "Paula Creamer."

Pears

Ever since I did the cookie pictures for Joyce's Homemade Sweets I've been wanting to do more food. I bought these pears yesterday and they looked so good I just had to shoot them (and photoshop them.) You can see the cookies at creopix.blogspot.com

Stranger at four feet project

This was our second project for photojournalism. Photojournalism is a class that I am taking just for fun. The project was to photograph a stranger from four feet get their information and write a caption. The caption for this photo is as follows: Tim Petway works on the remodeling project for the Air Force ROTC building on the University of South Alabama campus.
