We love soccer!

Five games in 24 hours and my daughter was in no mood for pictures. Needless to say, I have a ton of pictures from this weekend and because we were so busy I didn't get a chance to post anything on Friday or Saturday. This one is for Friday even though I took it on Saturday.

Seagulls and Museums

I went to the Art Museum today and renewed my inspiration. Sometimes I over think things and that just makes things complicated. Part of the new exhibition has a piece by one of my all time favorite artists, Chuck Close. Of course, the security person wouldn't let me take a picture so you'll just have to go see it yourself.

It isn't often that I use my fish eye lens so I got it out just for fun today. This is the bird's eye view of my out dated kitchen.

Mardi Gras in Mobile Alabama

Mobile boasts that it is the home of Mardi Gras. You would think that with all that experience they could direct the traffic so that I could find my way out of there. Here is a picture of Mardi Gras colors and the balcony rails. For me this sums Mardi Gras up. 

It peels, it cores and it slices!

I gave my wife an apple peeler for Christmas and she uses it every night. Every now and then I actually get a gift that she absolutely loves. Of course I had to put an artistic spin (pun intended) on the whole operation.

Fire

One of the funnest things about having a wooded lot and living in the country! FIRE! Remember, Saturdays are Archive days. This picture was taken this summer.

It's Snowing in Mobile!

For the first time since I've lived here it is snowing! BB and the dogs are loving it. I, of course have seen better.
